Collaborating with the Dr. Seuss Foundation to bring some of the most iconic children’s books to life was truly an incredible experience. The design team traveled to La Jolla, California where we met with the Dr. Seuss team, combed through the archives and selected the books we would be working with. From there, it was on to Palm Springs, where we encountered the wacky trees of Joshua Tree National park, the retro chic color of the cities vibrant vintage shops and dinosaurs of Cabazon, all of which would inspire and support the collection. Creating product that encouraged children to read and read to learn was one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.
